How can I be sure that my Meat will be fresh upon arrival?
We do everything to ensure that your goods arrive on your doorstep as fresh as the moment it was hand prepared by our specialist butcher. We use specially designed temperature controlled boxes and ice packs which ensure that the meat and fish products stay below 4 degrees for up to 48 hours.
Can I freeze the fresh Meat ?
Absolutely! You have two choices with your fresh produce: 1. Store in the fridge and consume within the ‘use by’ date or; 2. Store in your freezer and consume within 12 months and take out when you need it.
How quickly will my order be delivered?
Your order will be delivered within 24 hours from being dispatched. We deliver from Tuesday through to Friday. You can select your delivery date in checkout which gives you the flexibility of arranging for someone to be present to sign for your meat.
Why not have your box delivered to your place of work?
Alternatively, speak to your local gym about taking delivery on your behalf for collection that night….
How much does delivery cost?
There is no minimum order spend. However it is best to take advantage of our free delivery and spend over £55.
Any spend under £55 will be £10 delivery
Spend Anything over £55 will be FREE
Why don’t you deliver on a Monday?
Your order is made up fresh and is delivered next day, we dont open our butchers shop on a Sunday.
The vacuum packed meats have an odd odour initially?
After having initially opened your vacuum sealed meat it is perfectly normal to encounter a slight odour. This is called ‘confinement odour’ and will dissipate after a minute or so once the oxygen has got to the meat. Let the product breathe on a plate out of the packaging and it will be absolutely fine.
How do I change/cancel an order I have made?
If you need to change/cancel an order please contact us as soon as possible. Provided we have sufficient time we will endeavour to alter or cancel your Meat-Head order.
What is your returns policy?
As we are selling fresh products, you must notify us within 24 hours of receving your delivery if there is any issues with the order. Once notifed we will investigate and advise you how to proceed accordingly.
